Moving to Cape Town one year ago, on this date December 16th, 2004, was one of the crazier things I've done in this lifetime.

Biker babe! Ooops! Mom's hand is in the background! Just trying to get him to slow down long enough for the photographer to get a snapshot in!  Posted by Picasa

Catch mattie!! Posted by Picasa

Oh yeah, and the day before the photo shoot he did a face plant on the playground... if these photos were to be published, they would do a photoshop job on his forehead....I understand that this is quite normal especially for boys his age! Posted by Picasa

Angelic! Posted by Picasa

Mattie responded to an advertisement for child talent. He was received with great enthusiasm for both his good looks and his easy temperament...The next 20 pics or so are all from the professional shild photographer. He specialises in candid and active shots....this bodes well for Mattie as acting isn't his thing yet and he is certainly active! Posted by Picasa

Today, Sunday, was another beach day. This time it was Llandudno beach, further south and a bit more protected from the wind.  Posted by Picasa

We get the warm and fuzzies for Charlie Posted by Picasa

Mattie and mom join many others for a sundowner at Caprice before going home to make dinner for some friends on Saturday night.  Posted by Picasa

Charlie is 2-3 years old we were told by Animal Welfare. He's got a lot of energy that's for sure. His coat is super soft. Posted by Picasa

Here's Charlie. He's a medium sized dog probably mixed breed. He has a very soft coat and is great around Mattie. He seems to think, rather eroniously, that he is a lap dog. He also seems to think he's the king of the beach! This is his second time on the beach probably in his lifetime. Both were today! Posted by Picasa

Mattie feeding our new dog Charlie. We adopted him from Animal Welfare Society on Wednesday last week. He's a sweet dog and very clever. He's already learned to 'sit, come and fetch' just this week alone. As you can see, 'beg' comes naturally! Posted by Picasa
